I am pleased to welcome you to the Heathfield School website and hope it gives you an insight into all our activities. We are an independent girls' school catering for ages 3-18 and we are part of the Girls' Day School Trust (GDST), a registered charity which exists to provide a high quality education to girls of intellectual promise at a competitive cost.
The school values scholarship and hard work, enabling the students to achieve excellent examination results and continue onto University. At the same time, we emphasise the acquisition of a sense of responsibility, self-confidence and concern for others through our pastoral system.
Heathfield School provides a balanced, all-round education, meeting individual needs, providing support and developing every girl’s different abilities through the provision of a wide range of opportunities.
These exist both within and beyond the curriculum and are geared to developing the leadership and enterprise skills needed in the global economy. We pride ourselves on being a caring, friendly and happy school where we value each girl equally, whatever her talents. We welcome girls from many different cultures, religions and backgrounds, and from a wide range of independent and maintained schools, as well as from our Junior School.
Choosing a school is an important question and we welcome parents and their daughters to visit the school either at one of our Open Days or for an individual tour.
We are proud of what we offer and hope that you, too, will want to be a part of our success.
